Objectives:
- Demonstrate an ability to diagnose and initiate treatment for elective and traumatic finger, wrist, shoulder, and elbow pathologies.
- Demonstrate mastery of current concepts for diagnosis and treatment of bony, ligamentous, soft tissue, tendon and nerve injuries in the upper extremity.
- Demonstrate mastery of the anatomic considerations contributing the pathology and management of common elective to complex traumatic upper extremity conditions.

Course Format: This course consists of an online pre-test, four online videos, an online post-test, and an online evaluation. 

Participation Requirements: To qualify for CME credit, participants must complete each part of this course. 

Estimated Time: The estimated time to complete this course is 5 hours. 

CME Credit Hours: The ASSH designates this live activity for a maximum of 5.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Of the 5.00 credits, 1.00 have been identified as applicable to Patient Safety. 

Date of Original Release: This course was initially presented and recorded on January 29, 2022. 

Termination Date: The course is available for CME credit through 11:59 PM Central Time, December 31, 2025. 

Course Summary: This engaging virtual half-day course will highlight the fundamental knowledge with which both therapists and surgeons alike should be familiar. Common to complex upper extremity pathologies will be reviewed and discussed through an interactive combination of didactic and case-based presentations from experts in their respective fields.
