The American Society for Surgery of the Hand (ASSH) is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education (CME) for physicians. 

The ASSH designates this live activity for a maximum of 32 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

The maximum number of credits noted above includes all available educational programming including optional and additional-fee activities. Those only attending the general scientific sessions, instructional courses, and current concepts and controversies sessions over all three days of the main conference can earn up to 15.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. MOC

Successful completion of this CME activity enables learners to earn up to 

• 15.50 MOC points in the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery (ABOS) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program; and 

• 15.50 MOC points in the American Board of Surgery (ABS) Continuous Certification program.

It is the CME activity provider's responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABOS and/or ABS credit.

Other Allied Health Professionals

While ASSH is not accredited for other allied health professionals, many accrediting bodies will accept AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)^TM. Interested allied health professionals are responsible for submitting the necessary materials to their accrediting bodies to obtain credit. These materials may include a Certificate of Participation (obtained upon successful completion of the course and corresponding evaluation), the course learning objectives, and any course handouts.
