Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
Identify codes used to determine injury conditions
Explain the system to classify injury, anatomical location and type of injury for the first 3 characters
Describe the system used to delineate laterality and specificity as it applies to ICD-10 coding
Explain the coding used to indicate initial encounter (active treatment), subsequent encounters, and sequela with the 7th character
Course Format:
This course consists of an online pre-test, an online video, an online post-test, and an online evaluation.

To qualify for CME credit, participants must complete each part of this course.

The estimated time to complete this course is 1 hour.

Course Summary:
