• List options for surgical management of distal radius fractures
• Describe differential diagnoses for associated injuries, evaluation strategies, and treatment alternatives
• List common complications after injury and their optimal management.
• Describe best practices in rehabilitation strategies.
• Be able to recognize osteopenia and osteoporosis and describe treatment options.

Course Format: This course consists of an online pre-test, an online video, an online post-test, and an online evaluation.

Estimated Time: The estimated time to complete this course is 1.50 hours.

Course Summary: This enduring material is focused on the surgical treatment of fractures of the distal radius. Experienced faculty will present on tips and tricks for different methods of fixation as well as management of associated soft tissue injuries and common complications. We will conclude with a discussion of post-operative rehabilitation protocols and appropriate screening and treatment for underlying osteoporosis. Case-based scenarios and lively discussion will be encouraged. This program is essential for residents, fellows, and new practitioners, but seasoned surgeons will also find pearls essential for their practices!
