Objectives:
•    List options for management of scaphoid fractures and nonunions and stratify treatment options by goals and patient specific factors and outcomes.
•    Describe differential diagnoses for ulnar sided wrist pathology, evaluation strategies, and treatment alternatives.
•    Describe injury patterns seen in elbow fractures and dislocations, and list treatment options associated with acute and chronic elbow pathology.
•    Be able to recognize carpal instability and describe treatment options.

Course Format: This course consists of an online pre-test, an online video, an online post-test, and an online evaluation. 

Participation Requirements: To qualify for CME credit, participants must complete each part of this course. 

Estimated Time: The estimated time to complete this course is 3 hours. 

CME Credit Hours: The American Society for Surgery of the Hand designates this Internet Enduring Material activity for a maximum of 3.00 "AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™". Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity. The ASSH is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.

Course Summary: The program is aimed at "What's New and What's Next" in hand surgery, with cutting edge topics and specific debatable issues. Experienced faculty will present in mini symposia session on scaphoid fractures and nonunions, evaluation and treatment of ulnar-sided wrist pain, elbow unjuries and carpal instability. Case-based scenarios, and lively disscussion and debate with point and counter point style presentations will be the format; audience participation and questions are encouraged.
